Activities

The Club is a flat or lawn green bowling club with a mixed membership (men & women) which operates from late April until mid-September each year. Junior members are welcome and the club has basic facilities for the disabled.

The Club organises predominantly mixed friendly matches but it's fixture list also contains nearly 30 ladies matches and a number of mens matches including both the Royal County of Berkshire Bowling Association Kennet League and the Kennet LX League for the over 60s. In addition the Club runs a comprehensive set of Club Competitions for its members and a regular Wednesday morning session for the Berkshire County Blind Society. The Club also encourages its members to enter County Competitions.

During the season the Club meets regularly on Monday evenings for a members points competition and on Friday evenings (Club night) when coaching is available for beginners as well as for more experienced bowlers (see membership inf). The Club is open to all members each day from 10a.m.

In the winter regular functions are arranged for those interested. These include the Annual Dinner Dance in October as well as cribbage, whist, darts and games evenings.
