Over Sixties Win Again
Twyford travelled to Desborough where they played Desborough C.  An under strength Twyford still managed to win on all three rinks winning the match by 10 points to Nil.  Clive Winfield with Ron Rham and Don Leavey had a great win on their rink winning by 10 shots.  Twyford skips first.

Twyford Slip Up in Kennet League 
Twyford travelled to Maidenhead Town in a top versus second top clash.  Twyford lost out by two shots and the game by 10 points to 4.   It was a close contest throughout with Twyford winning on two rinks skipped by Colin Livingstone and Barry Carter but going down heavily on one rink.  T

Twyford Successful in Friendlies
Twyford entertained Great Hollands in a Mixed Friendly and won the match by 93 shots to 65.  Barry Carter along with Moira Moule and Chris Hosier were in great form winning their match by 23 shots to 11.  Pearl Leavey, Dick Allum and Peter Chase also won their matches and Mike Self turned in a credible draw.  Twyford skips first.

Twyford then welcomed Fleet United to the village for a friendly and again finished up by winning, this time 101 shots to 92.  Gill Allum along with Neil Patchin, Jim Walter and Helen O'Gorman played fantastica;lly well winning their match by 18 shots.  Margaret Garraway in an inexperienced rink produced a great scorecard, winning by 10 shots.  Twyford skips first.

Twyford Feature in the GREAT ESCAPE
Twyford maintained their winning record in this week's Kennet League with a marvellous win over Maiden Erlegh.  With one end left to play in the match, Twyford were down by 11 shots and dead and buried.  The great escape did however happen as in the last end, Dick Allum picked up 2 shots, Barry Carter who lost overall still managed to pick up a further 4 shots, Michael Cox, who had a bad night at the office did brilliantly to pick up another 4 shots.  That left Twyford needing 1 shot for a draw overall or 2 for a win.  Colin Livingstone who was last on the green was one shot down but with his last wood, fired the jack into the ditch for Twyford to pick up 2 and win the match by 77 shots to 76, picking up a further 10 points that puts them top of the league.  Twyford skips first.

Twyford defeat Windsor & Eton in Over Sixties League 
Twyford got back to winning ways at home this week defeating Windsor & Eton on all three rinks winning by 10 points to Nil.  It was a tight game overall but Twyford stuck to their task winning the match in the last few ends.  Peter Garraway and Tony Phillips, both newer bowlers bowled well throughout.  Colin Livingstone and his team of Reg Sweetzer and Clive Winfield were three down with two ends to go.  They picked up a 3 at the penultimate end to go into the last end where they converted to take shot and win their game by one shot.  Twyford skips first.

Twyford Lift the Dawes Cup at Local Rivals
Twyford travelled to near neighbours, Wargrave to play for the Dawes Cup.  Twyford were victorious, winning overall by 97 shots to 87.  John Steele accompanied by Mick Walker and Margaret Garraway had a great win, winning by 11 shots.  Other good wins were secured by the rinks skipped by Dick Allum and Michael Cox.  Twyford skips first.

Twyford Ladies Defeat Hurst
Twyford welcomed Hurst ladies to the village for this friendly match.  Twyford however got down to business and won comfortably on two rinks, skipped by the two Gill's, Jones and Allum.  Jan Walker, skipping for the first time, went down on her rink but worked hard throughout and will prove yet another good skip.  Twyford skips first.
